I was asked by Lt. Col. Norman Wade to post his recent Press Release announcing the Army is now offering a Prep School for young adults and give them an opportunity to earn their GED. Army opens preparatory school for prospective Soldiers FORT MONROE, Va. -- The U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) opened an Army Preparatory School Aug. 4 at Fort Jackson, S.C., to give qualifying young men and women an opportunity to earn their General Educational Development (GED) credentials before they begin Basic Combat Training (BCT).
